وبعد شوط أول انتهى بالتعادل بالسلبي بعد محاولات لم یكتب لها النجاح من الفریقین، حضرت الإثارة في الشوط الثاني بعدما تقدم النصر بهدف سجله البرتغالي توزي في الدقیقة 56، ثم عاد اللاعب نفسه وضاعف النتیجة من ضربة جزاء في الدقیقة 77، ثم أنهى ریان میندیز آمال عجمان بالعودة بإضافة الهدف الثالث بعد رأسیة استثمر فیها تمریرة ضیاء السبع في الدقیقة 81.
