Ajman Club has chosen Serbia to host the training camp for the first football team for the new season "2024-2025".
The preparatory program includes three phases, starting on 7 July and continuing until 17 August.
The first phase, on the first day, will be dedicated to medical examinations for the players, along with physical training to prepare them before the external camp.
The second phase begins on 14 July and involves the external camp, during which the team will play 5 friendly matches.
The team will return to the UAE on 2 August for internal training that includes one friendly match.
Ajman will open its local participation by playing its first match on 17 August 2024, in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup.
Ajman has regained the services of its Serbian coach, Goran Tufegdžić, after his contract with Al Wahda ended in January 2024.
The management and fans of Ajman hope that Goran will recall his good results with the team during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.
Goran previously succeeded over two seasons with Ajman in achieving record results, especially in the league.
The team ended the season with 44 points, the first time in the club's history to reach this number of points in the professional league.
The team also achieved 13 wins and 5 draws, the first time the team finished in sixth place, with the previous best position being seventh.
Goran also successfully restored the team's balance in his first season with "The Oranges" in 2021-2022, after they were on the brink of relegation in the 2020-2021 season.
